Environment
- Prioritise low-impact methods — mapping, sampling, and geophysics — before any ground disturbance.
- Plan drill programs to minimise access trails, water use, and footprint on sensitive terrain.
- Rehabilitate work sites and follow Quebec exploration regulations and best practices.
Social
- Engage early and openly with the communities and regions near our projects.
- Respect the land, its traditional uses, and the people who depend on it.
- Favour local and regional expertise and services wherever practical.
Governance
- Make decisions on evidence and disclose our activities transparently.
- Hold our fieldwork and contractors to clear health and safety standards.
- Manage exploration capital with discipline and accountability.
Why this matters at the exploration stage
Most ground a project touches will never become a mine — that is the nature of exploration. Precisely because the odds of any single target are long, the standard we hold ourselves to cannot depend on the outcome. We aim to leave every site we work in a condition we would be comfortable showing to the people who live nearby, whether or not we ever return with a drill.
