Muus Property
The central block of the land package — where structure, alteration, and historical showings come together most strongly.
Geological setting
The Muus Property covers a segment of a regional deformation corridor where volcanic and sedimentary rocks are cut by a set of long-lived, steeply dipping faults. Zones like this act as plumbing for mineralizing fluids, and the splays and jogs along them are where gold tends to concentrate.
Mapping and historical work across the block record zones of alteration and quartz-carbonate veining, together with scattered gold and base-metal showings. The same volcanic stratigraphy that hosts gold is also favourable for volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) lenses, giving the property two credible deposit styles to test.
Targets & potential
Orogenic gold
Structurally hosted gold along the main corridor and its splays, associated with quartz veining and alteration.
VMS lenses
Base- and precious-metal sulphide bodies within favourable volcanic horizons, expressed as conductive geophysical targets.
Untested anomalies
Several coincident geophysical and geochemical anomalies remain undrilled and rank as priority follow-up.
Strike continuity
The interpreted structure continues into the adjacent Muus East block, extending the potential mineralized length.
